Now that we had the whole band assembled, the album ready to go, we had to start preparing for the release of our first single, namely The Landing! Even though this was the last tune to be written for the LP, we decided to go with this as the first single as we felt it embodied the melodic death metal spirit pretty well.
Like most metal bands, we decided that the most appropriate place to record the MV would be... in the woods! So we ventured ~100 miles north of London and as the idea was so hastily put together, we had no proper script or screenplay prepared, except for taking our instruments and some costumes with us.
While the MV isn't exactly a masterpiece, we had such a blast shooting that day - plus we got a tonne of cool footage! In conclusion, while your first MV will most likely not be a top notch production, you will look back at it thinking how much fun you had regardless!
